TPMS-201-S (max pressure 3.8bar) suits all 4-wheel ON/OFF road 4x4 vehicles and monitors tyre pressure 24 hours a day, also when the car is parked. On the rear panel there is a switch used to select ON-road and an OFF-road modes for snow, mud and sand driving. The TPMS-201D (max pressure 6bar) is for ON road only and has not got this ON/OFF road facility.

This system does not require any programming and is instantly ready for use after installation of sensors and power connection to the display. Both permanent wire and cigarette lighter connection cables are included in the kit, 24 hour permanent wire connection is recommended.

By pressing the knob on the front panel of the display, user can check at the same time four tyres´ pressure or four tyres´ temperature. Backlight turns off automatically in 10 seconds.

In addition to pressure and temperature indications this system gives following warning signals:

  • High pressure warning (+30% of normal)
  • Low pressure warning (-20% of normal)
  • High temperature warning - 80°C
  • Air leakage warning - change of pressure 0,2 bar in 15 seconds
  • Slow air leakage warning - change of pressure 0,3 bar in 10 days (takes into account temperature compensation)

PRESSURE SAFE - MOTOR CYCLE TPMS

TPMS 2-wheel

Pressure Safe have announced that the same technology used to warn drivers of impending danger to vehicle tyres is now available for the motorcycle rider, offering complete peace of mind and a new level of safety. Riders are fundamentally aware that tyre condition is the most vital component of vehicle safety, as the margin for failure can relate to a far more dangerous outcome. The Pressure Safe motorcycle tyre pressure monitoring system offers rider the following advantages:

  • A completely waterproof, weatherproof, anti vibration display module easily mounted on the handlebar.
  • Continuous real time monitoring of front and rear tyre pressures
  • Instant alert should a tyre vary outside the preset safety margins
  • User programmable standard pressure settings for both front and rear tyres
  • Two low pressure warnings: Level-1 when tyre is 12.5% BELOW standard pressure, Level-2 when tyre is 25% BELOW standard pressure
  • High pitched warning buzzer and extremely bright LED warning lamp for viewing even during bright daylight
  • LCD screen easily read even during bright daylight
  • Monitor bracket includes three rubber inserts to suit various diameter handlebars
  • Large function buttons designed for use while wearing gloves
  • Transmitters simply replace dust caps on valves and come with security lock
  • Transmitters completely sealed against water, oil, dust, with battery life of 3-5 years
  • Pressure range 0-6 bar / 0-87 psi
  • Monitor hard wired to vehicle for complete protection, very little current draw when not in use
  • Monitor dimensions: 44mm x 51mm x 78mm
  • Transmitter dimension: 27mm x 21.5mm

Remember, the ONLY thing keeping you adhered to the road surface is the small patch of rubber less than the size of a mobile phone. The pressure in your tyres is directly responsible with the performance they can give you in an emergency, not to mention wear and tear under normal riding conditions. No doubt you spend good money on your machine and safety gear, why not try to avoid tyre problems as well!
